CHALLENGES
This website came with the challenge of creating a website that was unique, flashy, and simple for the client to use. Requests from the client included being able to showcase upcoming events, showcasing music, creating a functional booking form that would integrate with the clients calendar, and a song request feature that could be used to take song requests when playing at gigs.
FINAL OVERVIEW
SOLUTIONS
The final site was an amazing success and the client’s reaction was ecstatic. The home page featured an exciting highlight video and song request system without affecting site performance. Custom blog, event, and song showcase pages were created with custom posts and taxonomies that made it easy for the client to add new upcoming events, songs, and news. A simple integration to the client’s Google calendar created an easy booking system that helped him keep track of newly booked events without having to do more administrative work. In addition, a full eCommerce shop was added to sell merchandise and promotion products. This site incorporated all of the client’s needs without sacrificing performance and providing a unique personality on the web.
